Saving is as much a part of everybody's life whether they are rich or poor. No matter what people say, those who do not have some form of savings are definitely taking a huge, huge risk by doing that. Nobody likes to gamble with their lives, and that's what you're technically doing when you do not save on whatever thing or expense that you can. Saving is definitely a big issue that everyone is talking about right now especially when the worst economic crisis since the great depression is still unfolding upon the whole world. No matter where you come from and what your financial background may be, saving money means being able to increase your chances of weathering out this financial storm with both your feet still firmly planted on the ground. During your travels, you can actually save as well. 1. Don't mix business with pleasure since you might end up shopping impulsively. Being an impulsive shopper might work for some people who look good in almost anything. But for normal people like you and anybody else, being an impulsive shopper might actually just have you end up regretting what you just bought. Squeezing in a little shopping spree once you're done with your business obligations might just actually be a costly choice you might make on a trip. Sure you get motivated to shop more since you're in another city that might have stores and boutiques that might not be available in your hometown, but if you think about it, why buy something that's so pricey even when you're not really decided to buy it at all? The thought of having to go back home real soon would create a false need for this product since you might not get another chance to buy whatever item that's got you all up in a bunch. 2. If you can, why not stay with a friend when possible? That's definitely going to be a good idea. For one thing, you get to be able to catch up with your friend who may have been close to you before he or she had moved to another city. Catching up with old friends is definitely a wonderful thing to experience especially when you've been really close to the friend you're visiting. Aside from being able to reunite with friends, you can also save thousands of dollars of hotel accommodation expenses. Think of how much fun you could have when you're staying over with a friend. That will give you days and perhaps even weeks to catch up and bond even further. It doesn't take a genius to know that staying over with a friend who's more than willing to accommodate you for as long as you could means savings. Again, think about all the benefits you would have staying with a friend the next time you go out of town. Think about the potential thousands of dollars that you could save through this way of spending your visits on another city. |
